Marsan Food, which undertakes the distribution, sales and marketing of long-established and reliable brands in the Turkish food sector, has been ranked among Turkey's top ten food companies. Marsan is among the companies chosen to receive a medal and certificate from the Turkish Food Industry Employers Union (TÜGİS), and was presented with the Food Award on United Nations World Food Day on 15 October.

The companies that received awards on United Nations World Food Day, organized by TÜGİS in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), were selected by the Ministry of Agriculture, the FAO and TÜGİS. The award ceremony was held at the Conrad Hotel. After the meeting had been addressed by Minister of Agriculture M. Mehdi Eker, TÜGİS Chairman Necdet Buzbaş and FAO Director Mustapha Sinaceur, awards were presented to the top ten food companies.

Marsan Food, whose mission is to add flavour to life with its principles of quality, tasty reliable food and service, was one of ten companies presented with an award on United Nations World Food Day, whose theme is United against Hunger. Marsan is responsible for the distribution, sales and marketing of leading brands like Piyale, Luna, Ona, Hüner, Sabah, Evet, Saka Su and Ustam. The award was presented to Marsan Food by Minister of Agriculture and Rural Affairs Mehdi Eker.
